Hon. Joana Gyan, the Chairperson for John Mahama’s campaign in Amenfi Central, held a meeting with tertiary students from the Kumasi Chapter at the Golden Tulip/Lancaster Hotel on Friday, June 14, 2024. About 50 students from various institutions, including KNUST, AAMUSTED, and Kumasi Technical University, gathered to discuss issues affecting the Amenfi Central Constituency.
During the meeting, Hon. Joana Gyan emphasized the importance of patriotism and active concern for both their district and the nation. She took the opportunity to outline the reasons why the students should support John Dramani Mahama, the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and his running mate, Professor Jean Nana Opoku Agyemang, in the upcoming December 7, 2024, elections.
Hon. Gyan highlighted the fundamental reasons for voting for the NDC ticket, stressing their commitment to leading the country towards progress and development. She urged the students to consider the broader impact of their votes on the future of their constituency and the nation as a whole.
