A tragic incident has shaken Mesidan, a farming community in Techiman North, Bono East Region, where 21-year-old teacher trainee Hannah Akosua Frimpomaa was found murdered in an unfinished building.

Autopsy results revealed she had been stabbed in the throat. Hannah, a student at Atebubu College of Education, had returned home to Offuman for vacation. She left to go back to school and confirmed her arrival to her parents.

The next day, her father couldn’t reach her by phone, which had reportedly gone missing. After days of searching without success, the family reported her disappearance to the police.

During their investigation, the police tragically discovered Hannah’s semi-nude body in the unfinished building. Her uncle, Kwasi Fosu, expressed the family’s deep sorrow and appealed to the Ghana Police Service and other authorities to swiftly bring the culprits to justice.
