A MAN diesel truck with registration number GR 2714-X experienced brake failure and collided with a taxi cab at Obuasi Amangoase in the Ashanti region.

The truck driver, Musah Fuseini, 32, was transporting logs from Fenaso to Domeabra, both in Obuasi. Upon reaching Amangoase, he lost control of the truck, which then ran over a Toyota Corolla taxi cab with registration number GW 5088-11.

The taxi, driven by Bernard Nsiah, had passengers on board but managed to swerve, resulting in no injuries. However, the taxi was heavily damaged.

An eyewitness reported that the truck driver shouted to alert other drivers as he lost control.
