Tragedy struck as a Ghanaian businessman, a company official in his 50s, was discovered lifeless in his hotel room in Seoul’s Gangnam district on Tuesday morning. The shocking discovery occurred while he was attending an event linked to the Korea-Africa Summit.

South Korean police, responding to the distressing scene, found no evidence of an illicit action. They suspect illness may have been the cause of his untimely passing.

The deceased had traveled to Seoul to participate in a business counseling event coinciding with the Korea-Africa Summit, a gathering that commenced on Tuesday and welcomed delegations from 48 African nations, including 25 heads of state.
