Stonebwoy, who recently won the Artiste of the Year at the 24th TGMA, has clarified that there is no bad blood between him and fellow musician King Promise. The two were considered top contenders for the prestigious award, sparking debates among their fans.

After Stonebwoy’s win, King Promise congratulated him in a post on X, but Stonebwoy did not respond, leading to speculation about a potential rift. Addressing the issue in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Stonebwoy explained that his lack of response was not personal.

“Yes, King Promise congratulated me, I have seen it, but I have not responded. I just saw it and didn’t think to respond,” Stonebwoy said. “There are so many people whose congratulatory messages I haven’t responded to. It’s in that basket. Believe me, there is nothing attached to it at all.”

He urged fans and netizens not to create unnecessary tension, emphasizing his respect for King Promise. “No, I plead and beg they do not take it that far. There’s no bad blood, and I can never be seen that way with him. He is one of our junior brothers in the industry.”

Stonebwoy also recalled their past collaboration, highlighting their cordial relationship. “When he did ‘Hey Sexy,’ I remember I was traveling at that time, but I had to pass by and shoot the video for him.”

Stonebwoy concluded by reassuring that he has no issues with King Promise and urged everyone not to fabricate conflicts. “I do not believe I have any problem with my brother personally at all. We don’t play, so I don’t want anybody to start creating anything. If anybody chooses to create anything, they will have to deal with it, but I can’t get involved.”
