The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dismissed reports that Dan Botwe, Member of Parliament for Okere, has resigned as Chairman of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign. He stated the reports are false and should be ignored.

Rumours suggested that Botwe, the former Minister for Local Government and Regional Decentralisation, had been sidelined in the campaign and intended to resign soon. However, speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem, Nana B clarified that Botwe is actively involved in the campaign.

“It is not true that Dan Botwe has been sidelined or has resigned. He is very pivotal to the campaign. The only time he was absent was during a recent event for which he sought permission, just like the National Chairman. There is no confusion in the campaign, and after the NEC meeting, Dr. Bawumia will resume his tour,” he stated.
