Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, North Tongu MP, has been threatened with legal action by Kwame Blay, son of former NPP Chairman Freddie Blay. This follows Ablakwa’s accusations that the Blay family is involved in an illegal land acquisition attempt from Labadi Beach Hotel, a state-owned property in Accra.

The situation has escalated with Kwame Blay demanding apologies from Ablakwa, journalist Johnnie Hughes, and Media General’s management, warning of imminent legal proceedings if not retracted.

Blay strongly denies the allegations and calls for a retraction from Ablakwa.

Despite pressure, Ablakwa remains firm and challenges Blay to pursue the matter in court. He hints at more revelations related to alleged state capture.

In an interview, Kwame Blay expressed disbelief at Ablakwa’s claims, calling them baseless and damaging to his family’s reputation. He threatens legal action and warns Ablakwa to be cautious in his statements.
