Benny, Chef Smith’s manager, has denied rumours that Chef Smith’s recent culinary record is fake. He confirmed receiving an email from Guinness World Records (GWR) verifying the record.

In an interview on Hitz FM, Benny addressed doubts about the legitimacy of Chef Smith’s achievement and certificate. He explained that GWR offers two types of record verification applications: regular and premium. Chef Smith used the regular option.

“Under the regular application, GWR doesn’t make an immediate public announcement. Instead, they send a confirmation directly to the applicant’s email,” Benny said. “We have received this confirmation email from GWR.”

The manager reassured the public that the record is genuine and encouraged anyone with doubts to verify it directly with GWR.

However, it is worth noting that Chef Smith is not yet listed on GWR’s official site, which has raised further questions. The current record holder listed on the site is Alan Fisher with a time of 119 hours, 57 minutes, and 16 seconds.
