Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama, has announced that teachers who agree to work in rural schools will receive an extra 20% of their salary as an incentive if he is elected President.

This promise is part of a series of policies Mahama has proposed ahead of the December 7 election, including improvements in infrastructure and educational resources
