In a bold statement, John Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his commitment to fixing the economic woes inflicted during the Akufo-Addo administration. Speaking out via a post on X, the former President criticized the government’s handling of the economy, branding it as incompetent. He emphasized the urgent need for change and pledged to reset and repair the damage done to Ghana’s economy if elected President in the 2024 election.

In as much as some Ghanaians are lamenting for change due to the current economic hardship in the country, they should bare it in mind that things will be more difficult in the coming years no matter which political party or be reigning and the reason is that, they would try to put measures back in place to bring stability into the country’s economy.
