The Ministry of Interior has warned private security firms against using unauthorized uniforms, stating they must adhere strictly to approved regulations or face consequences. Two individuals were recently arrested for wearing uniforms resembling military attire, which violates Police Service regulations for private security organizations.

According to the Ministry, the approved uniforms include various combinations such as white or cream shirts with khaki trousers, mauve shirts with maroon trousers, and specific uniforms for mines and oil fields. The Ministry has been conducting checks nationwide since 2023 to ensure compliance and will enforce penalties on any non-compliant firms.

It emphasized the importance of private security firms in enhancing national security while underscoring its commitment to maintaining safety through strict adherence to regulations.
