Interior Ministry Extends Curfew in Bawku Municipality

The Interior Ministry has extended the curfew in Bawku Municipality and nearby areas in the Upper East Region. Effective from Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the curfew runs from 8:00 pm to 5:00 am.

Interior Minister Henry Quartey urged local leaders and residents to remain calm and seek peaceful solutions to their issues. There is also a strict ban on carrying arms or weapons, with violators facing arrest and prosecution.
