Ghanaian musician and socialite Mona Faiz Montrage, known as Hajia4Real, will be sentenced today, June 28, 2024. Her legal team has requested a three-month sentence, emphasizing her role as a single mother.

However, the US Attorney’s Office is pushing for the full 37-month term, arguing that a reduced sentence would be unfair and ineffective as a deterrent.Hajia4Real named the father of her daughter, Allison, as the person who introduced her to internet fraud. She met Allison in 2015 in the US and became involved in his fraudulent activities.

Charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering, and receiving stolen money, Hajia4Real pleaded guilty in February 2024.
