The Chefs Association of Ghana has confirmed that Chef Smith is not a registered member, according to General Secretary Peter Agbovi. This revelation adds to Chef Smith’s troubles after his controversial claim of a world title from a cook-a-thon challenge.

“You can call him a chef because he is a professional, but he is not a registered member of the Chefs Association of Ghana,” Agbovi said.

Agbovi explained that they learned about Chef Smith’s cook-a-thon via social media and were alarmed to see their logo on his attire. Despite attempts to get him to register, Chef Smith did not comply, leading the Association to refrain from posting about him on their platform.

Regarding the fake Guinness World Records certificate, Agbovi expressed disappointment, noting that it was heartbreaking to see a professional chef involved in such a controversy. The Association stresses the importance of proper registration and adherence to guidelines to ensure the authenticity and credibility of achievements in the culinary field.
