Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, the Administrative Manager of Asante Kotoko, has officially left the club. Joining in September 2020, Dasoberi played a crucial role in the club’s administration and operations.

Initially signing a three-year contract, Dasoberi’s term ended last year, but his leadership skills led to his appointment on the Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the club’s administrative matters during a transitional phase.

Now, Dasoberi embarks on a new chapter with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as permanent staff. Previously, he served as Club Licensing Manager for the Ghana Football Association (GFA) until his resignation in September 2020. In 2017, CAF appointed him as a Club Licensing Instructor and Stadium Inspector, roles he maintained until now.

Recognized for his expertise, FIFA’s Professional Football Department selected him as one of two Club Licensing Managers globally for its first FIFA Exchange Program in Qatar. This new position at CAF is expected to benefit from Dasoberi’s vast experience and contribute significantly to African football governance and operations.
